10 Minute Startup

1. Information We Collect

When you use 10 Minute Startup, we collect:

Google account information: name, email address, and profile picture (provided via Google OAuth sign-in)
Business information: business name, industry, description, target customer, goals, and challenges you provide during onboarding
Chat messages: conversations you have with AI team members
Usage data: message counts, features used, and session information
Payment information: processed securely by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

Provide and personalize AI team member responses to your specific business
Generate your custom business plan
Maintain your account and track usage
Process payments and manage subscriptions
Improve the Service and develop new features
Send important account notifications

3. AI Processing Disclosure

Your business information and chat messages are processed by third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude) to generate responses. This processing is necessary to deliver the core functionality of the Service. Your data is sent to AI providers solely for the purpose of generating responses and is subject to their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in our database hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your data is stored in the United States.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or business data to third parties. We share data only with:

Anthropic: AI processing provider (for generating AI responses)
Stripe: Payment processing (for subscription billing)
Vercel: Hosting provider (for serving the application)
Supabase: Database provider (for data storage)

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (NextAuth.js session cookies) and theme preferences. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function properly.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

The Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
